Yuasa Tanabata Festival

A historic and beloved local Tanabata festival
The Tanabata Festival is held every year on July 7 at Benzaiten Shrine and the Shimanouchi Shopping District. The venue is decorated with beautiful streamers, and many night stalls line the streets. The sight of children bringing bamboo with their wishes written on it is somehow nostalgic and heartwarming. The Tanabata Festival has a long history and is one of the beloved festivals in the local area. This year, children dressed as 'Orihime and Hikoboshi' are scheduled to appear at the venue, so why not go out to meet the cute Orihime and Hikoboshi?
