Nishikaikyo Park overlooks the Hariuo Seto, which serves as the entrance to Omura Bay. The park features cherry blossoms such as Someiyoshino and Oshima cherry, which bloom spectacularly in spring. Additionally, the Seto, known as one of Japan's three major tidal currents, swirls with many eddies. Around 1,000 cherry blossom trees bloom in this Nishikaikyo area, allowing visitors to enjoy the stunning contrast of swirling tidal currents and cherry blossoms. During the event, lanterns will be lit, and there will be a giveaway of flower seedlings for the first 200 respondents to a survey.
