The whole town is a cherry blossom spot
"It is said that Miharu Town got its name because the ume (plum), momo (peach), and sakura (cherry) blossoms bloom together, bringing three springs." In Miharu Town, there are many famous cherry blossom places and noteworthy trees, including the 'Miharu Taki-zakura,' which is counted among Japan's three great cherry trees. The weeping cherry blossoms in the town are collectively selected as one of the '100 Famous Cherry Blossom Spots in Japan.' The fresh young leaves and vibrant cherry blossoms announce the arrival of spring throughout the town. Once prosperous as a castle town, it is also recommended to explore the history and culture alongside the competing cherry blossoms.
