A special exhibition conveying the reality of the atomic bombing held in Osaka
August 6, 1945 (Showa 20): Hiroshima, August 9: Nagasaki. A single atomic bomb was dropped on each city, resulting in approximately 140,000 deaths in Hiroshima and about 70,000 in Nagasaki, with many suffering from the aftereffects of radiation. This special exhibition, jointly held by Hiroshima City and Nagasaki City, showcases photographs, experience drawings, and actual materials held by the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum and Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum, shedding light on the realities of the bombing.
