Lotus Viewing Festival (Hasu Matsuri)

Cultivating over 300 varieties of flowering lotuses, it boasts the largest number of species in Japan. Visitors can see rare flowers such as the Oga Lotus, which sprouted from seeds over 2,000 years old, and the Senbenren, which has over 1,000 petals. Early morning is recommended for the best viewing. Throughout the period, there will be daily boat tours within the park (for a fee).
