Mishima's privately opened Shibazakura garden is a spring sightseeing spot attracting many tourists from inside and outside the town. At full bloom, approximately 4,000 square meters of flower beds are filled with vibrant red, pink, and white flowers planted in the image of the snow-capped Mount Yotei. Its beauty has even been used in promotional posters for tourism in Hokkaido, and during the season, tour buses may come.
