Musical 'Riding the Galactic Railroad'

As a teacher, Kenji Miyazawa embarks on a journey to Sakhalin in search of his deceased sister Toshi. On that train, Ichiro, a student who has run away from his farmer's home, joins him. During the journey, Kenji shares his own fairy tales and discusses his conflicts with his father, who runs a pawnshop, and his desire to live as a farmer. An original musical that depicts Kenji's struggles between reality and ideals, linking his inner turmoil with the hearts of the characters from his fairy tales 'Night on the Galactic Railroad', 'The Bear of Nametoko Mountain', and 'The Twin Stars'.
