Special Exhibition 'Koizumi Yakumo and Manyoshu'

In line with the airing of the NHK morning drama 'Babake,' modeled after Koizumi Yakumo and his wife Setsu, this exhibition highlights the essay 'Tenkawa Engi' that they supposedly wrote tearfully about the legend of the Milky Way and the Manyo songs of Tanabata. Additionally, original illustrations from the folk tale of the snow woman, drawn by Takaoka City-born illustrator Miho Satake, will be exhibited for the first time in full, including unused original works cherished by Satake.

Closed on Tuesdays. *Open on September 23 (Tuesday, public holiday) and closed the following day, September 24 (Wednesday). Admission is until 45 minutes before closing time. Closed at 5:00 PM in November and December.
