At the Ilfu Children's Painting Museum, we hold the 'Takei Takeo Memorial Japan Children's Painting Award' every two years to inherit the spirit of Takei Takeo's 'children's paintings' and to explore a new era of Takei Takeo. In this exhibition, we will showcase the works of four artists, including the Grand Prize winner of the tableau category Uta, the Excellence Prize winner Misako Matsumoto, the Grand Prize winner of the picture book category Asako Onogawa, and the Excellence Prize winner Kakonakoko, starting from the 12th event held in 2023. We will broadly display award-winning works, past works, and the latest works of artists who will carry the next generation of children's painting.
