Kumagaya Temple, the 8th sacred site of the Shikoku Pilgrimage, is known as a famous location for hydrangeas. Approximately 1,500 hydrangeas are planted along the approach to the temple grounds, blooming vibrantly along the hydrangea-lined path by the Benten Pond and around the main hall.
