Special Exhibition "Graise Dale Arts and Shimonoseki: Portrait of Life as Art"

One of the cutting-edge moves in contemporary art is socially engaged art. Graise Dale Arts, based in the Lake District of England, has achieved results through social engagement via art. They have been practicing art projects in Shimonoseki since 2017. This exhibition consists of installation displays by associated artists, such as photographer Motoko Fujita from Shimonoseki, who bridged the exchange between the organization and Shimonoseki, as well as introductions to their activities.

Take the Chugoku Expressway Shimonoseki IC exit towards "Shimonoseki" and turn left at the junction with National Route 9, approximately a 5-minute drive.

Access (Public)

About a 20-minute bus ride from JR Shimonoseki Station East Exit to "Chofu, Koyaku, Ube" direction, get off at "Shimonoseki City Art Museum / Kanmon Medical Center".
