Carnivorous plants not only perform photosynthesis, but also capture insects for nutrients. There are various mechanisms for capturing insects, such as the 'pitcher plant' with its bag-like leaf tip, the 'sarracenia' with tubular leaves, and the 'venus flytrap' which quickly closes its leaves. We will exhibit and explain the unique shapes and ecologies of carnivorous plants, exploring their mysteries.
