Shiohama Furusato Park 2025 Double Cherry Blossom Festival

Shiohama Furusato Park in Naka City is a spot where you can enjoy the stunning spring scenery selected as one of the '100 Famous Cherry Blossom Spots in Japan.' About 2,000 double cherry trees (around 10 varieties including Kanzan) and approximately 200 Somei Yoshino cherry trees are planted in the park, allowing visitors to enjoy cherry blossoms for an extended period. When the double cherry blossoms are in full bloom, the Double Cherry Blossom Festival is held, featuring illuminated night cherry blossoms during the night viewing period, stage events, and food stalls on event days.

Stage events: 4/20 (Sun) 9:30 AM – 8:00 PM *Cancelled in case of bad weather. Night cherry blossom period: 4/15 (Tue) – 22 (Tue) 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM (the park is open until 8 PM during the night cherry blossom period). The period may change depending on flowering conditions.
