Kanade no Star Gazing Event

From the site at an elevation of 330m, the starry sky is very beautiful. The themes for each session are: 4/5 "Spring Starry Sky and the First Quarter Moon. What is the Moon Surface X?"; 5/31 "Spring Starry Sky and the Thin Moon that Looks Like a Full Moon?"; 7/26 "Summer Triangle and the Milky Way. Must-Know Secret Techniques!"; 8/23 "Welcoming Traditional Tanabata, the Best Season for the Milky Way is Here!"; 10/18 "Autumn Starry Sky. The Milky Way and Saturn with Rings are in Top Season!". The gathering point is near the BBQ reception. *No prior reservation is required. ■ Notes Since the temperature drops at night, please bring warm clothing.

Access

From Shizuoka IC, take the Shin-Tomei Expressway "Nagaizumi Numazu" IC, then via the Izu Tokukan Expressway Izu Chuo Road "Shuzenji" IC, about 2 hours.

Access (Public)

10 minutes by car from Izu Kyuko Line Izu Kogen Station. *Free shuttle service operates between Izu Kogen Station and Kanade no Mori.
