A work that depicts the joys and sorrows of older couples
Chikako Ohara and Shinichi Ohara, who are celebrating their golden wedding anniversary after 50 years of marriage. Their only daughter, Aya, has transitioned from running a food truck to becoming a nutritionist at a high-end nursing facility, with her marriage to her boyfriend Ryota Sugano just around the corner. The Ohara family seems to be on a smooth sail, but one day, suspicions arise about Shinichi's dementia. Meanwhile, Chikako starts taking lessons again, spurred by a reunion with her former chanson teacher's daughter, Hisae Maruyama, whom she had learned from in her younger days.
