Miniature Tamakuri Workshop

Experience the history and technology of the Asuka period.
"Tamakuri" is a pillow made by weaving glass beads found at the grave of the deity of Danzan Shrine, FUJIWARA no Kamatari, located in Sakurai City, Nara Prefecture. In this creative workshop, you can make a miniature tamakuri using beads instead of glass beads with your own hands. Through enjoyable beadworking, you can directly feel the technology and history cultivated during the Asuka period. During Golden Week, the green and red leaves of Danzan Shrine are also at their best, allowing you to enjoy it alongside your worship. ■ Remarks Applications can be made by mail, fax, or phone. Guardians must accompany children in the third grade of elementary school and below.
