Fukuoka Tower Tanabata Event

The Fukuoka Tower will light up with a 150m long Milky Way illumination. The observation room is decorated with bamboo ornaments, and you can freely attach wishes written on strips of paper. A new photo spot surrounded by a hundred wind chimes has also appeared. The Tanabata Festival will be held for three days from July 5 to 7, featuring street food, yo-yo fishing, medaka catching, and monkey performances.

Closed on June 23 (Monday) and 24 (Tuesday). The lighting time for the Milky Way illumination is from 19:30 to 23:00.

Observation fee: 800 yen, elementary and junior high school students 500 yen, 200 yen for ages 4 and over. *From July 1, adult fee is 1,000 yen

300 yen for 2 hours, then 100 yen every 30 minutes. *On special days, it's 200 yen every 20 minutes thereafter
