Spring/Summer Exhibition 2025 "Miniature Exhibition Conveying Thoughts - Following the Toy Workshops of the Erzgebirge Region" (First Period)

In a toy workshop in the Erzgebirge region of Germany, various miniatures are produced in addition to traditional toys such as nutcrackers. For example, in the Leichsenring workshop, there are flower miniatures perfect for spring, and in the Emil Helbig workshop, wooden miniatures inspired by Grimm's fairy tales, animals, and paintings. While enjoying the world created by miniatures that reflect the workshop's thoughts and dedication, it will also be an opportunity to learn about the toy workshops of the Erzgebirge region. ■ Notes For details, please check the website. Closed on Tuesdays. However, it will be open on Tuesday, April 29 (no substitute holiday). Open on May 6 (Tuesday), and closed on May 7 (Wednesday) as a substitute holiday. Opening hours from March 8 to April 25 are from 10:00 to 16:00, and from April 26 to June are from 9:30 to 17:00. *Closing time is 30 minutes before the last admission.

For admission to the Erzgebirge Toy Museum Karuizawa alone, the fee is 800 yen for adults, 550 yen for junior and senior high school students, 400 yen for elementary school students, and free for children under elementary school age. *A common set ticket for two museums, including the Karuizawa Picture Book Forest Museum, is 1,500 yen for adults, 1,000 yen for junior and senior high school students, and 700 yen for elementary school students.
