Taikan Yokoyama (1868-1958) was a prominent painter who played a central role in the Japanese art scene from the Meiji to the Showa era, significantly influencing not only the art world but also society at large. This exhibition commemorates the 55th anniversary of the Adachi Art Museum, utilizing all the exhibition rooms of the main building to showcase the works of Taikan, which are the focal point of the museum's collection. Masterpieces from his early to late career, including the iconic Mt. Fuji painting, and the newly acquired last work "Fujii," will be exhibited for the first time. Come and see the trajectory of the great master Taikan.
