The main work of Kōbō Daishi Kūkai, the founder of the Shingon sect, is "Shinpi Mandara Jujū Shinron", and the simplified version of this is "Hizō Hōyaku". Learning about these books also means learning the doctrines of various Buddhist sects, and it allows us to consider the various types of meaning regarding philosophy and thought for humans. Through reading together, we aim to deepen our understanding of Buddhism in general and the characteristics of esoteric Buddhism. Applications are accepted on the homepage of the Toyo University Open Course. The application period is from April 1 (Tuesday) to May 7 (Wednesday). ■Notes Open course (Spring 2025)
