KyoKa Izumi's Original Work × Reading Play 'Koya Sei' (Jyozenji)

KyoKa Izumi's World of Fantasy Literature
The young monk Munetada arrives at a lonely house inhabited by a mysterious beauty at the Hida Amano Pass heading to Matsumoto in Shinshu. The traveling monk, with a wounded and soiled body, is kindly washed and healed by a woman by the river, but before long, the woman also appears nude. That night, the sounds of birds and beasts echo around the house, and the traveling monk fervently chants the Dharani sutra. The next morning, departing from the woman's house, the traveling monk, unable to forget her, considers abandoning his monk's life to live with her.
