Eighty years after the war, deaf hibakusha in Nagasaki had long remained silent, but began to speak through interactions with sign language interpreters and oral history recordings. They were moved by their bright and powerful way of life, and the photographic documentation began. By speaking, new hope and testimonies were born, revealing human strength and the dignity of life. Let's appreciate the exhibition showcasing works of these deaf individuals.
