The 'Cynic Reading Act', which received high praise from various quarters for its previous work 'The Women Who Travel with Push Pictures', reinterprets Edogawa Rampo's novel in a bold manner and presents its latest work 'NANA of the Cherry Blossom Forest' as a commemorative performance for the 10th time. Inspired by Ango Sakaguchi's 'Under the Full Bloom of the Cherry Blossom Forest', it fuses Tanizaki Jun'ichiro's unusual short story 'The Mermaid's Lament,' and the world view of Ihara Saikaku's 'Five Women in Love', reconstructing it as a unique experimental reading play.
