2025 42nd Hyuga Hyottoko Summer Festival

As one of the three major festivals in Hyuga, the 'Hyuga Hyottoko Summer Festival' has become established as a summer tradition in Hyuga, featuring the humorous expressions of Hyottoko dancers who twist their bodies while dancing, centered around the unique folk entertainment 'Hyottoko Dance' passed down in the Shiomi Nagata area. A Hyottoko Dance parade is scheduled to take place centered around 'Akugare Square' in front of JR Hyuga City Station.
