Daigo-ji Temple, registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as one of the 'Cultural Properties of Ancient Kyoto'. Known as 'Hana no Daigo', it is famous for cherry blossoms and is also known for the lavish 'Daigo no Hanami' held by Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Various cherry blossoms bloom starting with the kawazu cherry in the spring equinox, followed by weeping cherry, Somei Yoshino, wild cherry, and yaezakura, showcasing a stunning display.
