The Kichijoji Autumn Festival is held in conjunction with the Musashino Hachiman Shrine's "Reitaisai" (Grand Festival). Leading the way is a priest riding a divine horse from Musashino Hachiman Shrine, followed by the shrine's portable shrine (mikoshi) parading through various shopping streets, culminating in the "Mikoshi Parade" where the mikoshi enters the shrine on Sunday. Additionally, a stunning performance occurs with all 11 mikoshi gathering at Heiwa Dori in front of the station, showcasing the captivating sights of mikoshi passing each other, known as the "Mikoshi United Parade." On both days, community mikoshi will also take part in a vibrant procession along chosen routes, making it an event worth seeing. ■Notes Inquiry reception hours are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
