The way of urban living that we now take for granted, such as entrusting housework to electric appliances, commuting by train from the suburbs to the city center, and enjoying leisure activities on weekends, began to spread among the general public in the 1950s (1955-64). There were many other lifestyles that became popular during this period. This exhibition looks back at the 10 years in which daily life underwent significant changes through approximately 150 items including products and advertisements from various companies that supported life in the 1950s, as well as photographs from that time.
