Tsurgakujō Park Light Up

The largest scale in Eastern Japan, illuminating the entire historic site. The 1000 cherry trees (selected as one of Japan's top 100 cherry blossoms) float in the night sky, and the beauty of the nighttime cherry blossoms reflected on the surface of the moat is exceptional. In addition, lighting is creatively arranged in different locations to offer a different atmosphere from the daytime.

The light-up is from sunset to 21:30 (until 21:00 after the petals fall). The admission time for Tsurgakujō Castle is from 8:30 to 17:00. *Last admission at 16:30.

Nishi Demaru Parking Lot: 200 standard cars, Higashi Entrance Parking Lot: 130 standard cars, Minami Entrance Parking Lot: 35 standard cars. *All paid parking.

Access

From the Tōhoku Expressway 'Koriyama' Junction, take the Ban'etsu Expressway towards Niigata and exit at 'Aizuwakamatsu IC', approximately 15 minutes.

Access (Public)

Take the Haikarasan Akabē (bus) and get off at 'Tsurgakujō Entrance', then walk for about 5 minutes.
