Izumi Kyoka Original × Reading Play "Koyasan Saint" (Seimeiji)

Young monk Socho arrives at a solitary house inhabited by a mysterious beauty at Hida Ten'an Pass, heading towards Matsumoto in Shinshu. The traveling monk, with a wounded and dirty body, is kindly washed and healed by a woman in the river, but before he realizes it, the woman is also in a completely unclothed state. That night, the sounds of birds and beasts echo around the house, and the traveling monk fervently recites the mantra. The next morning, as he leaves the woman's house and heads towards the village, he cannot forget the woman and contemplates abandoning his monk's life to live with her.
