Commonly known as "Thousand-Year Wisteria", the Nodafujis that are said to have been planted in the year 960 are designated as a natural monument of the prefecture. The wisteria that spreads over the grounds, the long drooping clusters of flowers, and the fragrant sweet scent soothe the hearts of visitors.
