Considering death is also a way to consider living, and it is one means to grasp life deeply. In this Kyoto Studies course, we will invite experts in history, folklore, and religion to lecture academically on how ancient people perceived 'death,' what they thought lies beyond death, and how they shaped and expressed death. If you want to know more deeply about what death really is, please join us.
