56th Kiso Lacquerware Festival & Narai Post Town Festival

A festival that carries on Japan's traditional culture, to early summer Kiso Road
This year too, the Kiso Lacquerware Festival & Narai Post Town Festival will be held! The Kiso Lacquerware Festival is an annual great lacquerware market held in Kiso Hirasawa. About 100 stores line the town, displaying products that are only available on this day and items that have been kept in storage. You might find amazing bargains unique to the production area, and bargaining is one of the pleasures. The main event of the post town festival is the "Tea Pot Procession." It beautifully recreates the scene of transporting tea in a teapot for the Tokugawa shogunate to Edo. Let's head to Kiso Road in early summer.
