Kamo Hara Onsen Ajisai Matsuri

During the month of June every year, the Ajisai Matsuri is held amidst 50,000 hydrangea plants planted in the shape of a hot spring and Ajisai no Sato. Every year, about 100,000 visitors come, and a temporary bus service operates. At night, the area is illuminated, allowing visitors to enjoy a different atmosphere compared to the daytime, and if you are lucky, you might see the Genji fireflies that inhabit the Ajisai no Sato. Various events such as exhibitions and photo contests are also held during the period.

Parking fee 500 yen. *Parking is limited, and as weekends can be congested, visiting on weekdays or using public transport is recommended.

About 5 minutes from 'Kamo Hara' Station.

Temporary direct bus service from Gamagori Station during the Ajisai Matsuri period (one way 520 yen).
