[Cherry Blossoms - Best Viewing] Hirose Park

[Cherry Blossoms - Best Viewing] Hirose Park

Admire the cherry blossoms blooming in the national scenic spot 'Former Hirose Family Garden'

Hirose Park

Late Mar~Early Apr

Hirose Park features the former residence and garden of Saihei Hirose, who contributed to the modernization of Japan's industry through the development of the Besshi Copper Mine, laying the foundation for the Sumitomo Group and the industrial city of Niihama. In 1968, it was designated as a scenic spot by Ehime Prefecture, and in 2018, it received national designation (Designated Name: Former Hirose Family Garden). Approximately 120 Somei Yoshino cherry trees are planted in the park, and in spring, they bloom all at once, showcasing their beauty. The cherry blossoms blooming around Kameike pond provide picturesque views, reflecting on the water's surface and creating scenes of cherry blossom petals dancing in the air.
