Exhibiting landscape prints of Mt. Fuji by Hasui Kawase and Hiroshi Yoshida
The Mogi Honke Art Museum will celebrate its 20th anniversary in January 2026. To commemorate this, the museum will hold exhibitions of ukiyo-e and new prints in three phases, focusing on the theme of 'Mt. Fuji,' cherished by the 12th head of the Mogi Honke family, Shichizaemon, who was dedicated to collecting artworks. The first phase will feature the masters of new prints, Hasui Kawase and Hiroshi Yoshida, who were active from the Taisho to Showa periods, showcasing their works of Mt. Fuji along with fresh landscape prints they created while traveling throughout Japan and around the world.
