Waseda Shrine Summer Festival

Shake off six months of misfortune and feel refreshed!
A summer festival in the Ushida Waseda area of Higashi-ku, Hiroshima City. It purifies the misfortunes accumulated by local residents and worshippers from New Year to summer over the past six months. A notable feature is the installation of a large wisteria ring in the center of the shrine grounds. This ring is handmade by local residents coming together. The dedicated Kagura will be 'Returning Bridge' by the Hijiyama University Kagura Club.
