A related lecture for the special exhibition "Meiji Restoration and Shizuoka: Tokugawa Yoshinobu, Ietada and Former Bakufu Officials" held at the Shizuoka City Historical Museum from April 26 to June 8. The Shizuoka Gakumonjo, established by the Shizuoka Domain, inherited the talents and knowledge of the former Bakufu and provided cutting-edge education. Mr. Yoshihiko Higuchi, a researcher specializing in Shizuoka (Professor at the National Museum of Japanese History), will explain the activities of the Shizuoka Gakumonjo and the personnel gathered there. Registration required: Applications from the museum's website will be accepted starting April 12. Phone applications will also be accepted starting April 18. Applications will be handled in the order received.

From JR Shizuoka Station North Exit, take bus number 10 on the Prefectural Hospital Takamatsu Line or Suruga Roman Bus and get off at "Aisle 21"
