This exhibition features valuable art and crafts inherited by the Imperial Family, including exceptional Edo period paintings by artists such as Kano Eitoku, highly detailed Western paintings from the early Meiji period, modern Japanese paintings by Yokoyama Taikan, masterpieces by Watanabe Shin'oka from Koriyama, sculptures and crafts by Takamura Kōun, and exquisite and delicate bonbonnières. Additionally, items cherished by Princess Chichibu Yoshihito, married into the Matsudaira family of Aizu, will be introduced. Enjoy the essence of Japanese art that the Imperial Family has preserved.
