Toyo Autumn Festival

The highlights are the kakikurabe and the lion dance dedication.
An autumn festival held in the former Toyo city. At the festivals of the shrines in each area, lion dances are performed, and particularly in the Yoshioka area, a traditional performance is dedicated where male and female wild lions are manipulated by 'naburiko' in time with the drum rhythm. Two days before Sports Day, 14 danjiri floats and one taiko float gather on Mibu River Station Front Street to compete in a splendid and magnificent display.
