Hitachi Omiya Summer Festival / Omiya Gion Festival

Held in conjunction with the city's traditional festival, "Gion Matsuri." Brave naked men, dressed only in loincloths, participate in the portable shrine procession and festival floats. In addition, we hold one of the largest projection mapping events in the prefecture (4 performances in total), a bamboo lantern event at Kojin Shrine, a gourmet festival, and more. It is packed with activities.
