Meiouji is home to two weeping cherry trees, approximately 100 and 80 years old. The entire Kamiyama-cho area is famous as a site for weeping cherry trees, attracting many visitors from outside the prefecture each spring, and this site is particularly well-known. Let's go see the cherry blossoms that droop down to the ground within the temple grounds.
