Mikasa Hokukai Bon Odori

The "Mikasa Hokukai Bon Odori" takes place over three days at Mikasa City Central Park. The Hokukai Bon Odori will be held around a giant yagura that is approximately 10m high. In addition to the traditional coal carrying race held over two days, there are various attractions including stage shows and Mikasa Bon lanterns, providing enjoyment for both children and adults. On the final day, the 15th, the cast of the HBC drama "Mikasa's King and a Few Others," which served as the filming location, will visit and liven up the venue, culminating in a cool summer fireworks festival.

Access (Public)

Take the JR Iwamizawa Station to Mikasa City Hall bus (Ikushunbetsu direction, about 25 minutes) and get off at the Mikasa City Hall stop, then walk about 5 minutes.
