The 34th Maizuru Hosokawa Yusai Tanabe Castle Festival

Strike! Resound! Deliver! Our Tanabe's Blood!
Centered around Maizuru Park, the 34th Maizuru Hosokawa Yusai Tanabe Castle Festival will be held. This year's theme is a prayer for the recovery of the Noto Peninsula: "Strike! Resound! Deliver! Our Tanabe's Blood!" At the festival, local elementary school students will present a storytelling performance titled "A Seat of the Siege of Tanabe Castle" and a play called "Kokon Denshu" at Kokon Garden, introducing the largest historical event that took place at Tanabe Castle, the "Siege of Tanabe." There will also be gourmet booths, a Tanabe Castle quiz, and a display of artistic stalls. Let's head out to a festival where you can feel local pride and community strength.
