Let's create a tapestry

Let's create a tapestry with the knots of sea work
In the seaweed production work, various knots were used with rope and cord when boarding ships or bundling tools. Focusing on the 'tokkuri knot,' we will tie the cord to bamboo and create a lattice-patterned tapestry. Finally, we will decorate it with shells and pom-poms to finish our original piece. It is also good for free crafting. Parents can help and learn the knots together. The target audience is from grade 3 to junior high 3, with a capacity of 20 people. Pre-registration is required. First come, first served by phone or at the counter. ■ Notes Siblings under the target age can observe but cannot participate together.
