Exploring the recreation of Dazaifu and the Kyushu Regional Headquarters
On June 11, 1945, the day's newspaper featured the headline 'The 'Dazaifu Government Office' is hereby recreated.' What was the Kyushu Regional Headquarters, referred to as the recreation of Dazaifu, like? Together with the Army's Western Army District and the 16th Area Army, which also governed Kyushu, we will delve into its conception and reality. Lecturer: Kunio Watanabe (Kyushu Historical Museum).
