"Takubo" Experience Workshop

Rare Experience Workshop
"Takubo" is a technique for preserving characters that originated in China. It has been used for preserving the inscriptions carved on stone monuments. It involves placing paper on a textured surface and applying ink to it. It is also used in the study of archaeological excavations. There are collectors of rubbings of haiku and tanka carved on stone monuments in various locations in Japan. This time, we will use a type called "Taku-ban" that we have prepared to experience what "Takubo" is through indoor activities.
