Delivering hot information about Kagoshima's archaeological sites
This special exhibition will introduce the latest findings focusing on notable archaeological sites from last year's excavation investigations and report tours conducted in the prefecture, including the shogi board unearthed at the site of Kagoshima Castle's Ni-no-Maru and the toilet ruins at the Suwa-no-Mae site in Akune City. Advance registration is required. The lecturers are Mr. Kiyoshi Hoshino, Cultural Property Superintendent at the Kagoshima Prefectural Center for Cultural Properties, and Ms. Aya Manabe, Cultural Property Specialist at the Foundation for Mound Investigations, from the Tamari site in Ibusuki City. A gallery talk will be held by the lecturers after the event.
