38th 2025 Kaisei Town Ajisai Festival

Approximately 5,000 hydrangeas are planted along the farming roads and waterways in a vast rice paddy area equivalent to about 3.6 Tokyo Domes. The contrast between the vibrant green countryside just after the rice planting and the rainbow-colored blooming hydrangeas is stunning. Let's stroll leisurely through the beautiful hydrangea scenery as if we were snails. A special exhibition of the hydrangea festival is held at the important cultural property designated by Kaisei Town, the old folk house 'Ashigari no Sato Setoya' (entrance fee 300 yen, free for middle school students and below).
