[Cherry Blossoms - Best Viewing] Kanehoko Hill

This is a small hill called 'Kanehoko Hill' on Mukoushima, across from Onomichi. From this location, you can enjoy typical Onomichi scenery, such as the townscape and ferry boats crossing the Onomichi Canal, as well as night views. In spring, the view with cherry blossoms blooming midway up the hill is particularly special. The top part of the hill served as a filming location for director Nobuhiko Obayashi's new Onomichi trilogy 'Ashita'.
