Edward Gorey (1925-2000), a picture book author with a mysterious worldview and intricate monochrome line drawings, has enthusiastic fans worldwide. In recent years, picture books such as "The Uninvited Guest" and "The Hapless Child" have been introduced one after another in Japan. This exhibition reconstitutes approximately 250 works and materials based on themes such as "Children", "Mysterious Creatures", and "Performing Arts" from the planning exhibitions held at the memorial museum 'Gorey House', which was created as the author's final residence.
